You are invited to attend this luncheon meeting and find out more about becoming a member. In short, membership is a way to formally and publicly align with the mission and beliefs of CCC. Our Membership Q&A is the first step in becoming a member. It is a time of fellowship, an opportunity to learn more about who we are and where we are going, as well as have a chance to ask questions. Local Church Membership... 1. promotes good organization. Corinthians 14:33 2. facilitates the building of God’s household. I Peter 2:4-5 3. is one way of committing ourselves to one another in a bond of love. I John 3:16-18 4. helps to meet our need for belonging and support. Acts 2:42-47 5. enables us to keep an accurate count of the flock. Acts 1:15, 2:41,4:4 6. provides a structure for accountability and discipline. II Timothy 2:2 7. provides a way to sustain a missions program in un-evangelized lands. Acts 13:1-3 8. fulfills certain legal requirements. -Anything requiring a vote to appear on a legal document. 9. gives you a voice in the church affairs. -Voting right 10. affects the amount of full gospel chaplins to our men and women in service - the more memebers a demoniation has the more military chaplins that demoniation is allowed
