HOME MISSIONS SERVICE - Tim Dilena, Brooklyn, New York
Tim was the founding pastor of Revival Tabernacle Church in Highland Park, MI. His years of Pastoral and outreach ministry in the Detroit area has produced in him a strong passion and first-hand perspective of the tremendous need for home missions. He has spoken for Promise Keepers, Major League Baseball and Football Teams, colleges and seminaries and has been a contributor to the Thomas Nelson “Revival Bible.” Tim recently joined the staff at Brooklyn Tabernacle in New York.

HOME MISSIONS LUNCHEON - Steve Bradshaw, Lou Commisso, Chad Deerman
Following the second service there will be a luncheon highlighting CCC's involvement in CHURCH PLANTING. Guest Steve Bradshaw, Michigan District Church Planting Director, will describe the strategy for church planting in Michigan and how CCC has been involved. You'll also hear from TWO church planters that your missions dollars have helped over the past year, the personal testimony of a new convert and exciting opportunities for CCC's involvement for the future! Tickets are FREE but required. An offering will be received to offset the cost of the luncheon.

U.S. PRAYER INITIATIVE --Fellowship Hall
During Missions Month this year, and in ADDITION to our normal monthly GLOBAL Prayer Initiative (October 17), we will be offering a special prayer initiative focused exclusively on the needs of our country! There will be live music, worship and directed strategic prayer for: critical issues, government leadership on national, state and local levels, and CCC's U.S. Missions Outreach. Plan to join us for this powerful time of worship and intercession. Open to the entire adult congregation. Teenagers are welcome, children should be limited only to those who can participate in prayer and be
accompanied by a parent.

FOREIGN MISSIONS SERVICE - Missionary to North Africa

This missionary family is no stranger to CCC and has invested many years of ministry in a very challenging Muslim country they refer to as "Narnia." Using a unique missions concept, this visionary couple has created a company that coordinates various development projects including schools, adult education centers, a "safe house" for women and compassion ministries focused on reaching Muslims with the Gospel.

You will have the opportunity to interact with our missionary guests from the morning services in an informal setting where they will be able to expand the description of their ministry, relate personal stories and respond to questions you may have about their work or daily lives in their unique cross-cultural setting. Space is limited. Tickets are FREE but required. An offering will be received to offset the cost of the luncheon.

Our Sunday night small group provides a unique time to connect with our missionary family in a living room setting. You will be able to personally interact and ask questions in a group of 12-20. The hosts will provide refreshments. EVERYONE should bring a dessert to pass. Because of limited space ADVANCE SIGN UP IS REQUIRED. GLOBAL PRAYER INITIATIVE – Fellowship Hall
This monthly strategic prayer gathering includes worship, prayer for all of CCC's missionary families, strategic global prayer as participants walk out onto seven 12x16 prayer maps of every region of the world, and special prayer for Faith Promise Sunday will also be offered. The prayer meeting will conclude by gathering our guest missionary family for special prayer and presenting them with a check reflecting the congregation's giving the day before! Open to the entire adult congregation. Teenagers are welcome, children should be limited only to those who can participate in prayer and be accompanied by a parent.

FAITH PROMISE SUNDAY - Pastor Joel Stocker
Pastor Joel will conclude our Missions Month on FAITH PROMISE SUNDAY. The message of the morning will challenge us to be involved with missions in a personal and practical manner. Faith Promises will be received at the conclusion of both services to establish our missions' budget for the upcoming year.
