Main Geographical Regions Our interactive map highlights 7 geographical regions. Each region will highlight as you mouse over it. Click on a region and you'll zoom in, allowing you to read information about that region, be introduced to the Missions Council Member that directs our outreach to that region, and read about some exciting things God is doing! You'll also find a direct link to the Assemblies of God World Missions home page, providing you with a wealth of additional information. Once zoomed into a region, you can immediately see every country in which CCC missionaries serve. When you click on a highlighted country, you will get a pop-up list of all of our CCC supported missionaries. Click on the missionary of your choice, and you will get a new pop-up with information about that missionary and his/her work, picture (if available) and contact information, including a direct link to their personal/ministry web site (if we are aware of one) and an automated email form which can allow you to communicate with them personally or send them occasional words of encouragement. Security Note: Many of our missionaries serve in sensitive countries or have sensitive email addresses. These missionaries will not be included in the same way, so that we do not put them at risk. Specialized and Local Missions A button titled Specialized Missions is also be visible on the main map. Our missionaries organized under this heading are not tied to any one geographical area. Most of our specialized missions are international in scope. U.S and LOCAL areas, each led by separate directors, are initially combined on the main map. When you click on Michigan you will discover a separate listing of all our LOCAL missions outreaches. Providing Connectivity This interactive map should prove to be a fantastic tool that will give you increased connectivity to our missionary family. Check back often, the information on this map will continually be changing and new missionaries added regularly to reflect our current outreach. This interactive map can serve as a great way to pray for our missionary families and for global missions in a systematic way. |
