Pastoral Leadership

Our missions outreach is led by our Missions/Assistant Pastor Pat Rusch and his wife, Kristine. Prior to their relocation to serve on staff at CCC in August of 2005, the Ruschs have had extensive experience as senior pastors in Illinois, where they developed a strong missions church. Their missions giving increased over 85% during their pastorate and many individuals were called and sent into full and part time missions ministry under their leadership.  It is very exciting to be a part of CCC. A passion for missions permeates every department and everything we do. Kristine and I are honored to serve a people so committed to reaching the world, and to work with such a capable Missions Council. Missions Council & Regional Teams

Missions leadership at CCC is divided into 9 areas of oversight.  A missions council member or couple gives leadership to these areas under the direction of the missions pastor. 7 of the 9 areas are major geographic regions within which CCC supports multiple missionaries and projects. The remaining two areas of oversight include Specialized Missions, missions that cannot be tied to one geographical region, and trips.

In addition to serving on the Missions Council, each regional director oversees a small group leadership team dedicated to intercessory prayer, missionary care, communication and the ongoing development of CCC's missions strategy to the region they serve. A great way to get involved in missions leadership is to join a regional team. This region encompasses all of CCC's U.S. Missions interests including those in Midland and the greater Tri-city area..

The remaining two areas of oversight are currently combined. Specialized Ministries include missionary endeavors not tied to one geographic region. The Kelchs also plan and coordinate our CCC missions trips.
