Where do I go to give online? Simply click the ONLINE GIVING banner at the bottom of the home page. What is online giving? Online giving is the ability to give a donation or schedule a series of donations using your debit or credit card or your bank account on www.CCCmidland.com Why do I have to set up an account and password? Setting up an account and password allows you to enter a highly secure environment for your transaction. Once your account and password are established, all of your personal information including credit card information is safe and protected. Is it secure? All debit or credit card information you enter and store for online giving is secured by Easy Tithe. Click HERE to read how secure it is.
Are there any hidden charges or fees to give online? Nope. You select the dollar amount for your gift. That is the dollar amount that will be recognized as your donation. No extra costs or fees are asses to you. Like all companies and non-profits that use debit cards or credit cards there are small administrative fees that we incur but they do not affect the amount of your donation. Nothing happens when I click ‘Give Online’. What’s wrong? If you are using a pop-up blocker like Google Toolbar, Norton Internet Security or Pop-Up Stopper, the window can’t open. Most browsers also have an internal popup blocker that can be enabled or disabled. In order to use interactive features you will need to allow pop-ups. Can I use my debit card or credit card? As long as it's a MasterCard or Visa. Can I use an electronic check? Not yet. You can use your debit card that is linked to your checking account. To use an e-check you must contact your bank to and use their program. Can I just try this by giving one time? Sure. Select the tab “TITHE” for one time donations or to set up reoccurring donations click the “AUTO TITHE” tab. If we want to help people get out of debt, why does Christian Celebration Center accept credit card donations? Used within the parameters, debit and credit cards can be an efficient tool for payments and purchases. Many people utilize them in place of checks or cash throughout the month, and then pay off the balance in full. For these people, we offer the option of using a debit or credit card to give. We discourage those who have ongoing credit card debt from exercising the use of credit cards. Can I designate my gift to a particular department or ministry? Scripture teaches us and we practice tithing to the general fund. If you would like to designate money to go towards a certain department then in the drop down menu of Choose a Fund, select “OTHER” and at the bottom of the page type in the department of the event you would like to make a donation or payment too. Should I tithe off my gross earnings or the net amount of my paycheck? Although scripture doesn’t use the literal terms “net” or “gross” it does have scriptures that deal with this issue. Genesis 14:20 says “…Abraham gave a tenth of everything…” and in Lev. 27:30 it says “a tithe of everything…belongs to the Lord…” and another good verse is 2 Chronicles 31:5 “the Israelites generously gave the first fruits of all that the fields produced…a tithe of everything.” There is a bigger issue at hand than “net” or “gross” and it is your heart. God says in 2 Corinthians 9 that “each person should give what they have decided in their heart to give; not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” God wants your heart more than your bank account, why don’t you trade in legalism for generosity and you will never be sorry! How can I keep a record of the amount I have contributed? You can view your online giving record from the “VIEW HISTORY” tab. When is the automatic contribution charged to my account? You choose the date(s) that you want to be charged. In the drop down menu of Frequency pick one of five options. What if I want to change my online giving or stop it? From the “AUTO TITHE” tab, select the contribution to be changed and click deactivate. You can adjust the information and then reactivate. Who do I talk to if I have more questions?
